Where in the World

Is the Action Happening?

Will you join us in it?

Deep in the heart of South America is the Country of Bolivia.

Bolivia's population is 8,421,000 with a breakdown of  64% American Indian, 30.5% Mestizo, and 5.1% European.

The official religion is Roman Catholic, but the people are animists, or Christo-pagan.  Evangelical Christianity is only 11.8% of the population, with the Indian peoples being the most receptive.

Most of Evangelicals in Bolivia have not been well discipled in Jesus, and Christianity remains at a very immature level.  Grant Ministries is committed to saving souls and making them disciples of Jesus Christ.

While La Paz functions as Bolivia's Capitol city, Sucre is the historic, and legal capitol of Bolivia.

Grant Ministries is based in the city of Sucre, sitting at just over 9,000 feet elevation in the Andes Mountains.

Our other churches are SE of Sucre, in an area not shown on the map, named Monteagudo.

The city of Sucre was founded in the year 1538 by the Spaniards who owned and operated the silver mines in Silver Mountain, Potosi.  Sucre is also home of one of the first Catholic universities and archdiocese in the Americas.  For more information on the history and spiritual strongholds of Sucre, click here.

We have now been in Bolivia planting churches since 1991, working under the covering of World Indigenous Missions (WIM), and Chuck Hall the president of the mission.  We have recently incorporated our churches in Bolivia under the name of "Piedra Viva" Churches.
