Abundant Life fellowship

Red Bluff, CA

Pastors Elmore and Doris Heitman have worked shoulder to shoulder with me (Ed) since the first day I left for missions in 1989.  Late Sister Confidence Klotz was the pastor at that time who took me in as one of the church's own missionaries, and after we were married, Shery and I became members of the church.  Brother Elmore and Sister Doris traveled many times to visit and help Ed on the mission field and eventually took over the pastorate of Calvary Temple, which is now Abundant Life Fellowship.

Pastor Elmore has been a great source of spiritual encouragement and challenge for me over the years.  He listens, understands, supports, builds us up.  His counsel draws upon years of ministerial experience, and his friendship is the greatest privilege that I could have.  He has sacrificed so much time with us, in his cabin or fishing on the lake.

Dedicated to missions around the world, our church Abundant Life Fellowship has bought us a pickup twice, helped the family with plane tickets many times, and even helped us build our three churches in southern Bolivia.  And they never forget the simple things like phone calls, emails, care packages, or flooding us with peanut butter!

Pastors Elmore and Doris publicly recognized for  helping us build our Sucre Church. Pastor Elmore ministered to the Guarani Indians, bringing more souls to Jesus.
How good it feels to be well received by our home church in Red Bluff! Elmore and I in some of the picturesque country between our churches.
