We have had many friends come and visit us for a few weeks or more
in our home, and participate in the church activities. Others have
spent hours in prayer, seeking God to anoint us, guide us, and give us victory
in bringing souls to Jesus, and establishing them in the faith. Some
come to preach, teach, counsel, or bless the congregation through
inspirational music. And some now work on the field with
us.
Here are some of them. Take a few clicks and meet them!
Dan Fick arrived in August of
2003, after visiting us for a month in September of 2002.
He has now been trained by us for two
years, working as youth pastor of our church. He is now considered a Senior
missionary with World Indigenous Missions. He has his own vision to continue
working in Sucre, and will not continue in 2006 as our youth pastor.
However, he does plan to continue with us, as our worship leader. We really enjoy
him, and the contribution of his spiritual gifts in the church.
Pastors Marcelino and Ignacia
Zárate are planting churches in a town south of Sucre, called
Monteagudo. They now have a neighborhood church started, and are have
also begun a church among the Guarani Indians who leave just 5 miles back
into the bush out of town.
Abundant Life Fellowship is
our home church, lead by Pastors Elmore and Doris Heitman. They have
been behind us from the beginning, believing in us, and supporting us in
every believable way.
Life Church has also been behind us since we began in Bolivia.
Pastor Joel Dyke trained Ed Grant in Missions years ago in Southern
Missions.
Christian Challenge
International is also a long time partner with Grant Ministries.
Assistent Pastor Nathan Martin worked with Pastor Joel Dyke when Ed Grant
was in Missionary training. Very close ties have been developed.
Cottonwood Community
Church is a major supporter of Grant Ministries. Mark
Boyle is head elder of the growing church, and has been a friend of
Ed's from college.
